Message	long story short, my 95 TT's got flooded about 1000 miles ago. Drained all water and bang, the car ran, as usual, as before, no difference. 1000 miles later, noise coming out of engine , at first i thought it was tappet, but she started to lose power. i started to realize its a serious engine problem. A local mechanic came and heard the engine, telling me it should be one of the main bearings. I am in the process of tearing engine apart. I am bouncing my ideas between getting a new factory short block and a IPP stage I. I don't need a lot of power, maybe 370HP at the crank will make me happy. but I do rev the engine high(5000-6000 rpm, liked that sound) on a daily basis. so that's why i am asking if the 95 TT has a larger bore, because if I order a new short block , i am fearing that it won't fit my 95 TT :because I am looking at my 95 service manual as saying 87mm-87.030 mm. that number is the same as other years, isn't it? :
